The pandemic has provided you with overnight exposure to the world of online education, which will dramatically shift how people learn for centuries to come. Whether you realize it or not, you have experienced the techniques that promote great learning outcomes alongside those that have caused students to struggle. This week you will teach an asynchronous class on a topic of your choosing using either Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp. By utilizing a social platform to teach others asynchronously, you will get hands-on experience and learn how to curate a learning experience for others that is not time-bound and allows the learner to easily digest material on their own time.
At Friday's An Hour of Mentorship, industry professionals will help you understand how asynchronous learning opportunities have been used in industry and discuss the relevance of the skills acquired on your desired career trajectory.
