“The 360 Spatial audio event put on by Real Industry delivered everything I could hope for as a student: great, cutting edge software, top industry connections and a supportive group of professionals to help me take my skills to the next level. I learned an incredible amount about the opportunities available to me professionally while making friends with talented peers who shared a similar vision. After working hard toward a common goal, receiving feedback and advice from some of the top audio designers at Facebook was a truly invaluable experience you can’t get anywhere else.
RI and Facebook created something special, a program for serious students to make real connections to industry professionals. They supply the tools and the connections; all you are asked to bring is an open mind and a willingness to work hard. Every step of the way Real Industry and Facebook were there with support forums, guided templates and other essential tools to help you create. As a U-M student, I am exposed to dozens of small networking opportunities everyday. This, however, is truly the real thing. Real guidance from top professionals to help you make introductions, work on fascinating projects, and improve. ”
