But, the stock market and the way in which markets inform business decisions, can really help you make smart personal decisions about your career and investment choices. Students taking this challenge will gain a high-level understanding of the stock market, particularly companies in their target industry. By developing a portfolio using Yahoo Finance, students will monitor fluctuations, evaluate a promising growth stock, and maybe even purchase $20 worth using Robinhood.
You’ll present your portfolio to mentors on Friday at An Hour of Mentorship. Gain feedback from industry professionals on the value of understanding financial markets in your industry sector. Discuss the relevance of the skills acquired on your desired career trajectory.
